Example
This page is an example of how you can present a small spiral review (1-5 multiple choice) from a webpage and use a form to collect student response in class, in real-time! No clickers needed, just an internet connection from laptop or phone with browser capability.

  • Each student would navigate to your review page/form
    • Your review page/form would be located on your blog/wiki/website and should be accessible from a student's laptop or smart Phone.
  • When the student has completed the assigned review exercises, they will submit their responses using the form you have created (see example below).
  •
To learn how to Embed Your Form into your blog, go to Embed Form into Blog.

Here's an Example Google Form.  You'll need to create your own, save to your Google Account and start gathering student responses in real-time!

Teacher Resources

  • This website is a quick demonstration of how to use a blog to gather student responses to multiple choice review questions (like a clicker!)
  • The full details and how to do all this can be found at:

How it works and the technology required

Wiki, Blog, Website, Blackboard

  • Create your interface for online delivery: Wiki (like Wikispaces), Blog (like WordPress, Blogger), Website (your own), Blackboard (may or may not allow this interface, but worth a try!)

Google Form or other survey tool

  • Create a form to accept user inputs for the multiple choice problems you give them (example: A, B, C, D)
  • When all users have responded to the set of problems, you may instantly view the results of the form to see the students' responses.

Word Doc

Create your review problems in a Word document (or other Office type product that has an equation editor)
